On August 16, I had the privilege of being on the panel when NPRs The Diane Rehm Show when the topic was Living with Migraine and the Search for New Treatments.
The other panelists were:
- Dr. Perry Richardson: Migraine specialists at George Washington University Hospital
- Dr. David Dodick: director of the headache center at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, past president of the American Headache Society, chair of the American Migraine Foundation
- Dr. Story Landis: director of the National Institute of Neurological Diseases and Stroke at the NIH
It was a great hour for getting out some important information about Migraine and answering questions from listeners. There were so many questions that we couldn't get to all of them in the allotted time, so Dr. Dodick answered several more online after the show.
Quite a few people have contacted me to ask if the show was archived because they missed it. I'm glad to say it is, and you can listen to it online. Just go to Living with Migraine and the Search for New Treatments and click the "LISTEN" link in the upper left corner of the page.
